About

Beeji is dedicated to crafting quality, everyday sun safe hats for the whole family - because we believe protecting ourselves and our kids from the sun can be fun, functional and for everyone.

Born from a passion for the outdoors and a commitment to sun safety, Beeji was founded by friends Billie-Grace and Jill. Faced with the challenge of finding gender-neutral hats that offered both style and protection from the harsh Australian sun, they decided to create their own wide-brim solution.

After extensive research and development, Beeji launched a line of machine-washable hats that combine simplicity, style, and functionality. Each hat is designed with features that make them perfect for sun protection on everyday adventures.

Our Mission

To create sun safe hats that are fun, functional, non-gendered, practical pieces.

Our focus is on creating pieces that are worn for a lifetime and test the limits.

We strive to provide exceptional customer service, honest products, and modern style for EVERYONE.

Our Commitment

1. We strive to improve our processes each time we develop and manufacture. Our goal is to create products that are sustainable in all senses of the word: socially, environmentally and economically.

2. We strive to leave as little a footprint on the planet as we can. We commit to reducing unnecessary tags and plastic and to be considered in our stock orders to reduce surpluss.

3. We don't follow fast fashion trends. Our products speak for themselves. We are all about longevity and purpose.

Acknowledgement of Country

Beeji acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional custodians of the lands where we live and work - Australia. We recognise their cultures, histories and diversity. We recognise their deep connection to Country - the lands, waters and seas, and recognise their role in caring for and maintaining Country over thousands of years.

We acknowledge the Jagera people and the Turrbal people as the Traditional Custodians of Meanjin, the place we call Brisbane and we pay our respects to Elders past and present.

We acknowledge the Gadigal of the Eora Nation, the traditional custodians of the place we call Sydney, and pay our respects to the Elders both past and present
