How do I find the right size hat?

Beeji running caps are available in one adjustable size to suit most. They are a standard 57cm.

Beeji wide brim hats are available in three adjustable sizes and should last a few years for growing heads. Each size can be tightened by 3-4cm using the head elastic.

To measure your head, you can use a flexible tape measure to wrap around the widest part of your head, from just above your eyebrows to the back of your head

  1. Place the tape measure about one to two finger widths above your eyebrows
  2. Wrap the tape measure snugly around the widest part of your head
  3. Bring the tape measure around to the widest part of the back of your head
  4. Remeasure three times and use the largest number
If you don't have a tape measure, you can use a piece of string or twine that doesn't stretch. Wrap the string around your head, including your pinky finger, and measure the length with a ruler.

If you're measuring your head by yourself, you can use a mirror to help position the tape measure correctly.

If your measurement falls between two hat sizes, it's best to round up.

The following circumference size guide can help you find the perfect fit for a growing head.

  • Small (48cm) with 6cm brim. Great match for kids age 6 months to 2yrs.
  • Medium (53cm-54cm) with 7cm brim. Great for kids age 2yrs to 4yrs.
  • Large (57cm-58cm) with 7.5cm brim. Great for kids age 4+.

If you think your child has a head between sizes, pick the larger size and they can grow into it and enjoy the hat for a longer time.
